Macy Gray also credited as Natalie Hinds in her music, is an American R&B and soul singer-songwriter, record producer, and actress, famed for her distinctive raspy voice and a singing style heavily influenced by Billie Holiday and Betty Davis.
Ho-hum, Adam is kind of jerk to Macy. At the same time she isn't really much of a good guest. Strange vibe to the show. Best part is lightning round. 2 star.
Very bizarre call right out of the gate - a girl calls complaining about her boobs being an odd shape at 23 and reveals that she is an apprentice at a funeral home, of course spurring lots of questions from Adam. Macy arrives late and she just bombs on into the studio. Macy regales Adam with tales of when she was a tour guide at the NFL Hall of Fame at age 12. She was fired for being late - SHOCKING!
This is shortly after she made some ridiculous (but probably true) proclamation at an awards show. I vaguely remember this - and also her showing up at some event in a crazy dress (thought probably not that crazy compared to the likes of Niki Manaj/GaGa). She is 18 shades of nuts - I can't determine if I find her entertaining or annoying.
Drew reveals that Napoleon was bad in the sack! There is apparently evidence. He and Macy also sing his favorite Missy Elliot song bumper. Rangey show.
